Ja, in principe zijn alle luchtdichte potten geschikt voor het gebruik met Nanostopper®. Vooral glazen potten met een metalen deksel zijn zeer geschikt, omdat ze gemaakt zijn voor vacuüm, duurzaam zijn en het vacuüm goed aankunnen.
Deze potten komen ook onder vacuüm uit de productie, wat je kunt horen aan de kenmerkende “plop” bij de eerste opening. Hoor je dit geluid niet, dan is er iets is met de pot en hoogstwaarschijnlijk ook met de inhoud. Met Nanostopper® kun je het vacuüm herstellen door met de Potdeksel Perforator een gat in het deksel te maken.
Potten van plastic of potten met een plastic deksel zijn in principe ook geschikt, maar let daarbij altijd op de sterkte de stijfheid van pot en deksel. Zo kan een plastic potje bij sterk vacuüm indeuken en kan een plastic deksel bij het perforeren inscheuren en daarom niet meer worden gevacumeerd.
